Sustainable Settlements

The Sustainable Settlements Programme evolved from the Housing Programme, which began operating in 1992. It has undertaken contracted partnerships with the Swedish Co-operative Centre, United States International Development Agency, International Institute of Energy Conservation and Provincial Department of Housing. Afesis-corplan has acquired expertise in developing approaches that deal with building sustainable community settlements and institutions that augment local economic initiatives.
