Gugu Nuba Mgwebi is a Project Coordinator at Afesis-corplan and holds a Postgraduate degree (Honours) in Development Studies from the University of Fort Hare, a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Political Studies (B Soc Sci Political Studies) from Walter Sisulu University as well as  a certificate in Social Accountability Monitoring from Rhodes University.

Gugu has contributed towards the organisation for four years and is currently involved in Afesis-corplan's Local governance  and Public Awareness programme work.
