Bonginkosi Masiwa of our Local Government Unit is attending a GGLN sponsored IDP workshop in Durban today. The workshop is aimed at identifying and addressing crucial capacity issues within municipalities that would effectively facilitate community input. Best practices, challenges of IDP implementation as well as ways in which communities can interact with municipalities with regards to the review process will be discussed. This workshop is geared towards designing a step-by-step guide for communities and civil society institutions when engaging in the IDP process. Click here to find out more.
