In 2008 Afesis-corplan decided to elevate its existing information dissemination activities to a programme level. The purpose of the Public Awareness Programme is to raise awareness, share information and generate debate around topical issues of local governance, sustainable settlements and development facilitation. Afesis-corplan uses print and electronic communication tools as well as discussion forums to publicise its project lessons and principles to a broad target group and build relationships with key stakeholders.
