The strategic planning process for Afesis-corplan for 2009 and beyond has begun. At a meeting held on 20 September 2007, Frederick Kusambiza presented a situational analysis of the NGO funding environment in South Africa. Ideas for organisational sustainability that had been collected in an e-brainstorming exercise were shared by Ronald Eglin. Following further discussions and planning sessions, proposals will be drawn up by the programme units. The next strategic planning session will take place on 05 October 2007.
