Frederick Kusambiza attended the Provincial Biennial General Meeting (BGM) of the Eastern Cape NGO Coalition on 04 and 05 October 2007 at the Kennaway Hotel in East London. Mr Kumi Naidoo (CIVICUS) gave the keynote address: "Challenges that face Civil Society in the Second Decade of Democracy in South Africa". Guest speakers included Dr Russell Ally (CS Mott Foundation), Ms Bea Hackula (Transformation Africa) and Ms Barbara Kalima-Phiri (Southern Africa Trust).The BGM focused on a number of strategic issues of the organisation as well as the election of the new Provincial Executive Committee.
