Afesis-corplan in partnership with the DBSA is rendering Development Facilitation services in the development of a Sustainability Plan for Mthatha. This is one of the DBSA’s pilot projects of the sustainable communities programme in South Africa. The project entails mobilisation, communication and consultation of all stakeholders in Mthatha to participate in the planning process as well as the development of a Social Charter that will be agreed and signed by all. The Social Charter is a contract between all stakeholders and it will articulate the vision, values, principles and priorities for future development in Mthatha.
