Posted on 16 May 2008
Bonginkosi Masiwa will join participants from other CBOs and NGOs across the country at a workshop held by the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS) at Wits University on 20 May 2008. The intention of the workshop is to mobilise around the need for appropriate national intervention, regulation and funding for water, as well as the establishment of adequate minimum national standards to ensure water as a social good to those who need it. Discussions will address the findings of the research carried out across fifteen municipalities by the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (NCHR) and the Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions (COHRE).
