The Eastern Cape NGO Coalition (ECNGOC) is hosting a seminar aimed at Strengthening Civil Society Participation in Local Governance. The seminar brings together municipal officials, politicians, civil society organisations and the public to talk about issues of effective public participation. Nontando Guwa will be chairing the seminar as well as delivering a paper on the National Policy Framework in Public Participation. The seminar will take place at Saint Saviour Church in East London on 22 May 2008.
