Ronald Eglin of the Afesis-corplan Settlement Unit attended a National Department of Housing Indaba on 10 and 11 May 2007 in East London. Entitled "Community Transformations through Integrated Human Settlements", discussions focused on rural housing programmes including the content of a draft social contract agreement that is to be signed by government, traditional leaders, farmers organisations, the private sector, communities and NGOs.
