On 14th February 2012, Musa Sebugwawo and Penelope Vellem attended a bi-monthly LRF meeting in Peddie, Nqgushwa local municipality. The purpose of the meeting was to get information from the Department of Roads & Public Works regarding the infrastructure project as well as the financial allocation for all the projects. In the same meeting the Coega Development Corporation Technical Manager made a presentation regarding the involvement of SMMEs in the Roads Development programme. It was agreed that local SMME’s should be involved in the infrastructure project particularly the construction of the N2 project. In addition five roads that need agent maintenance should be identified.
