As part of National Youth Month activities, Afesis-corplan is hosting a seminar on "The Role of Youth in Local Governance and Development". The event takes place on Friday, 13 June 2008 at the Health Resource Centre in East London. The aim is to bring various stakeholders together to deliberate how youth development issues can best be mainstreamed, particularly in the Eastern Cape. Speakers include representatives from the Usobomvu Youth Fund, EC Youth Commission, University of Fort Hare and Buffalo City Municipality. Click here to confirm your attendance.
