Peter Kimemia presented Afesis-corplan's Good Governance Survey (GGS) reports covering all the six local municipalities of Nkangala district in Mpumalanga on 4 April 2007. The report back session, held in Middleburg, was also attended by Hajo Junge and Matthias of the GTZ, the key funders of the project, and representatives of the district municipality as well as those from the local municipalities. The parties to the workshop agreed to meet at a later date to plan follow-up activities in response to the governance issues raised by a wide range of respondents.
