On 9 June 2007, Frederick Kusambiza joined representatives from NGOs in the Amathole Region for a first round of discussions on the recommendations made by the Centre for Developmental Practice in their organisational review report for the Eastern Cape NGO Coalition. ECNGOC has scheduled further meetings for the remaining seven regions of the Eastern Cape. The expected outcome is that ECNGOC will be well positioned to respond to its member organisations' requirements as well as to the external factors influencing the NGO sector at present.
