The Good Governance Learning Network (GGLN) Reference Group met at the Isandla Institute in Cape Town for a strategic planning exercise yesterday. Peter Kimemia of Afesis-corplan was present as was Jaap de Visser, Terence Smith, Ismail Davids, Mpume Shezi and Mirjam van Donk. Discussions covered a range of issues around the context, purpose, activities and the institutional arrangements within the network. This will be taken up further with the broader membership so that the final document reflects a concerted plan for the future.
