Afesis-corplan, Project for Conflict Resolution and Development (PCRD) and the German Agency for Technical Co-operation (GTZ) in partnership with Cacadu District Municipality (CDM) have completed the initial fieldwork of the Good Governance Survey (GGS) in the five municipalities under CDM. The survey, which was conducted from 16 to 27 July, targeted councillors, municipal officials, mayors and members of the general public. Some of the issues covered included decision-making in the council, public participation, consultation, transparency and service delivery.
