Gugu Mgwebi attended an NGO meeting hosted by the Department of Social Development in East London yesterday. The purpose of the meeting was to engage stakeholders at the local level, listen to concerns and priority areas, provide briefs of tariffs and formulas for the financial year 2007/2008, state challenges faced by the government in achieving objectives as well as to strengthen NGO liaison committees through interaction.
