Afesis-corplan was invited to a Good Governance Learning Network (GGLN) workshop  held in Cape Town at the FCR offices on Monday 23 April 2007.  The discussions focused on achievements of the learning events on public participation, municipal finances, performance management and future advocacy. Appropriate indicators for reviewing local government were also discussed. Peter Kimemia, Coordinator of the Local Government Unit, shared some of his experiences from the Nkangala Good Governance Survey.
